Oh, hi! Didn’t see ya there!
If you’re new here, my name is Abby Clare. I’m a photographer/writer/social media manger based in New Jersey. I created My Life Backstage in my dorm at Syracuse University back in 2016 as a way to stay connected to the music world I loved when I felt so far away from it during my years at school. At the time, MLB was used primarily for album reviews and band interviews as I was working towards a degree in Writing and Rhetorical Studies. However, post-grad I’ve been pursing a career in photography (abbyclare.com if you’re so inclined to see more of my work *hint, hint*) and I wanted to bring back the site specifically for show galleries and maybe a few playlists here and there; I may have taken a break from writing about music but I most-definitely did not take a break from showing everyone I know what I’m listening to at the moment. So with a quick blog clean-up, a fresh logo, a little color change, some up to date photos of my face, and a new perspective, I am happy to welcome you back to My Life Backstage.
